Magnertron Studios’ objective is to provide musicians with access to broadcast quality production facilities. Magnertron Studios produces the television series Underground Sounds for Station 31 Across Australia. (Which was nominated at The Antennas Awards for best music show in 2009). Magnertron Studios’ modern Audio and Video production facilities give customers access to a complete range of programs such as Digital Performer, Pinnacle Studio, Adobe Premier Pro CS4 ,Adobe Photo Shop , Sound Forge , 3D Frame , Poser 3D , 3D sketch, graphic and web design facilities. We also use Luma Creamware sound cards, Tascam and Berringer Desks ,Sony and Canon (HDR 3ccd 1080i) digital video cameras, Rode and Shure Mic's , In board and out board effects , Marshall and Fender amps and professional compact disc (CD/DVD) production services. The studio has been fitted  with 1 Drum Booth , 1 Vocal Booth ,1 Audio control room , 1 Video control room , 1 blue screen room and 1 rest/smoking area, set in palm trees with table, chairs and Barbeque.  Magnertron Studios has a strong focus on facilitating and unearthing emerging local acts and is also involved in aiding musicians, with already produced video clips, in distributing and broadcasting their work.

History:

Magnertron Studios was founded by a father and son team in 1998. Magnertron Studios takes its name from son, Shane McNamara’s, popular local metal band Magnertron. Shane’s years of industry experience have helped shape the professionalism of the studio. And more recently Shane's sons Corey and Kyle McNamara from Upside Downside have step into the role of editors. Magnertron and Upside Downside band members are heavily involved in the creation, promotion and production of the Underground Sounds website and television series.

Magnertron Studios' main focus is on giving local musicians access to broadcast quality sound and video production, Magnertron studios' has a strong focus to unearthing local acts and is always on the lookout for bands with completed film clips to air on Underground Sounds. If you have a completed clip send it in, if you would like the Underground Sounds Crew to come and film one of your shows ring Shane to make a booking ,(there is a fee as the Crew must be paid.)
