INTRODUCTION

Underground Sounds is a Music television program that first featured on Australian TV in 2004. Underground Sounds has progressed into its 8th Season for 2012. Season 5,6 & 7 where nominated into the C31 Melbourne Antenna Awards for best music program , (for the third year in a row) and Shane McNamara was nominated as best male presenter. Underground Sounds is a culmination of information & entertainment specifically pertaining to the Australian Music Industry.

UNDERGROUND SOUNDS SESSION 8

Underground Sounds has progressed into it's 8th Season , which is now been digital for 2 years, Session 8 will be featuring informational music segments from all over the world , promotions on upcoming shows ,CD/DVD reviews , Band interviews and reviews , product reviews , give aways, battle of the bands , viewer competitions , Out & About and not to mention music Clips and live footage... Join Show Hosts Shane & Kelli on C31 Melbourne , C31 Adelaide , TV's Sydney  , and QCTV Queensland, as  they show case Bands from around the globe. Underground Sounds still has all the favorites from passed seasons as well as fresh new acts from around the globe , all filmed in High definition. This season is looking to be Underground Sounds strongest season yet.

UNDERGROUND SOUNDS SESSION 7

Underground Sounds 7th Season , which was digital since June 2010, Session 7 seen the reopening of the "Underground Sounds" night club in Brisbane. soon after the floods Brisbane hit , we kept the show running in Brisbane,  as soon as the waters subsided and the mud was cleaned out of the station. A big Thx to the Queensland community for your support during these hard times. Underground Sounds played host to several successful community fun raisers ,which where held at the Underground Sounds Night club and Greens Slopes Bowls club. All Funds went to The Royal Mail Hotel in Goodna which is one of Underground Sounds favorite spots for filming Blues acts. Season 7 was all filmed in High definition.

UNDERGROUND SOUNDS SESSION 6

Underground Sounds 6th Season , which premiered on the 1/1/2010 and went digital in June 2010, With Interviews live footage from Chimaira and Stevie Wright this session was always going to be cool . The studio  purchased 3 new 1080i HDV Cameras and made the necessary changes needed for the digital changeover. Session 6 was nominated into the 2010 C31 Melbourne Antenna Awards for best music program , (for the second year in a row) and Shane McNamara was nominated as best male presenter. Underground Sounds still had all the favourites from season 1 , 2 ,3 ,4 and 5 as well as : Chimaira , Blood Dudster , Mortal Sin Stevie Wright , Rose Tattoo , Dreamkillers , and a heap more local act Australian acts, and this time it was all in High Def, Get it in ya.

UNDERGROUND SOUNDS SESSION 5

Underground Sounds 5th Season was nominated for best music program in the 2009 C31 Melbourne Antenna Awards. With our own Live Events making production more simple, session 5 was able to feature more live acts, which premiered on the 1/1/2009 ,running for 12 months , in 4 states ; Queensland's QCTV, South Australia's C31 , N.S.W's TV's and Victoria's C31.Underground Sounds still has all the favourites from season 1 , 2 ,3 and 4 as well as ; Dismember (Sweden), Carnal Forge (Sweden) , Sadist (Italy) , Necrophodic (Sweden) ,, K3 (Brazil) , Asterdon (Brazil) , Questions (Brazil) , Insane (Hungray), Chug-a-Naut (New Zealand) , Soayowa (Brazil), God Lonely Man (Europe) and many more.

UNDERGROUND SOUNDS SESSION 4

Underground Sounds 4th Season on was pick up by Victoria's C31 and gained more international recognition with special guest appearances from Adam from "Machine Head" , Angela from "Arch Enemy" , Andréa Kisser "Sepultra" and Billy Graziabei "BioHazard", which premiered on the 5/1/2008.The session ran for 12 months , in 4 states ; Queensland's QCTV, South Australia's C31 , N.S.W's TVs and Victoria's C31. The fourth session came with new sponsors such as : "Tuckers Tattoo's" and "Underground Sounds Live Events" (Our own Live Event company , putting on Live events that will be filmed for Underground Sounds) Session 4 featured bands such as ; Sodom (Germany) , Sunk Loto , God Forbid (U.S.A) , Shihad , Screaming Jets , Rose Tattoo , Mortal Sin , Blood Duster , Dave Evans (ex AC/DC singer) , Red Dawn , Sydonia , Perfect Nothing , Torn Asunder , Fuel Set (New Zealand) and many more.

UNDERGROUND SOUNDS SESSION 3

Underground Sounds Third Season started to gain international recognition after going to air in 3 states Queensland's QCTV, South Australia's C31 and N.S.W's TVs, and with interviews and live footage from; Sodom (Germany) and God Forbid (U.S.A). Session 3 premiered on the 1/1/2007 ,running for 12 months. Session 3 featured old favourites from season 1 & 2 , as well as ; Mason Rack , Dreamkillers ,The Brewster Brothers, State of Integrity, The Fumes , Intercooler , Hotel 44 , Ceremony , I Alone , Soul Scrape , Victory Lane , Repeat Offender , Kizmet , Interviews from Local events , battle of the bands , CD/DVD give aways , Viewer prizes and a whole lot more.

UNDERGROUND SOUNDS SESSION 2

Underground Sounds second season was starting to become a growing new force within the Australian music industry.  Interviews from celebrities such as Angry Anderson ,The Screaming Jets ,Bob Spencer ,Troy Casse-Daley , Taxi Ride and more help gain more recognition for the show. Season 2 premiered on the 21/12/2005 running for 18 months on QCTV, the show was also extended to an hour, With all the old favourites from session 1 , as well as a new variety of bands such as ; Cartoon , Dragon , Lynchmada , Sausage Chopper ,Upside Downside ,1.1.1 , Indica , The Crisis Therapy , Five Star Prison Cell , Elephant Mojo , Cell , The Eternal , Candy Pain , Girth , The Full Fudge , Bullet Head , Ilium ,The Riot , The Frighteners and many more.

UNDERGROUND SOUNDS SESSION 1

The first Season of Underground Sounds laid the foundations for the show that airs across the country today and premiered on the 15/09/2004 running for 6 months on QCTV (Queensland). The first season featured bands such as : Magnertron , Monkey7 , Blood Duster , Merkury , Aeolion , Southern Legion , The Black Stars , Glen Terry ,Hatz Fitz , Bo- Jenkins , Brian Fraser , Paul Burton , Southern Booze Camp , Kyte and many more. RAGE aired various clips from season 1 and the audio from those clips was broadcasted on TripleJ and other radio stations. Host of Underground sounds featured on 4zzz , on a variety of their shows. BrizMetal attended the Underground Sounds live events & various press releases were made Regarding the first season.
